My point is: Why should anyone take seriously this "alarm" or "concern" over Jay's behavior when it is just an amped-up version of what goes on in here routinely? The crude and insensitive jokes, the insults, and the trolling of people who seem full of themselves are not his monopoly, he just takes it further than most. |

Yeah, that was a bit bull and hasty I admit. The cool thing is when I go out on an untenable limb once in a while I can admit it instead of pretending I have everyone's psychology nailed by reading their posts.

jay's trolling is nothing like the casual ball busting that goes on between the TAs who are friends and respect each other. can't believe you can't see a difference.
the bottom line is that he obviously has some deep routed issues that trouble him in his every day life and this is his outlet. that's his purpose for coming here and that's fine. but some of us come here for more light hearted reasons and we're all actually friends in real life, etc... and we certainly dont have to put up with it, so that's why you're gonna see some flaming from time to time. |
