None of what's been discussed thus far even touches on the fact that these agencies were instituted with strict and illicit rules of no domestic spying except under the most veracious circumstances, and what they are doing is not only illegal, it's unconstitutional. But it's all in the name of 'keepin ya safe' and whatever other hyperbole you can drum up, right?

Funny how you feel perfectly capable of psycho-analysing someone on text alone, but whenever anyone makes the far more prosaic statement that you're a bit of a thicko, we just aren't "getting" you.

Is this a big shock to you? The government always lies and breaks its own laws. Do you think nobody has realised?

There's only one reason you'd care, and that's if you had something to hide. And 99% of the time, it's drug use. Everyone I've ever spoken to who is vocal about their privacy also takes drugs.

No.

How about on principal? No? That doesn't exist any more? Either you comply with everything the government wants to do, no matter how ludicrous, or you are guilty of something?

That's the thing, though. This isn't ludicrous. It's completely irrelevant unless you have something to hide.

Do you think shady figures in the Pentagon sift through your electronic details and note down what you like to fap to, so they can blackmail you? No. There aren't enough shady government agents in the world to sift through that amount of information. It is logged on a computer, it's processed by a computer, and that computer doesn't give a about your insignificant life.

Unless you break the law in private. Which is generally drug use. Feel free to tell me you don't take drugs at any point.

No, you are absolutely right

Please, continue.

Why don't you just link me an image of the Bible and complete the logical progression?

I just find your platitudes about this subject laughable at best, and disheartening for the future of this country at the worst. If you really believe that line of bull your throwing my direction, that are in complete contradiction to the philosophical beliefs this country was founded on, keep on believing it. I'm not going to tell you what to believe or how to live your life just remember this.

"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animating contest of freedom, — go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen!"
SYSTEM-J
I'm not American. I'm not your countryman! I don't care what values your country was founded on, and I don't care about your appeal-to-authority. Just as I don't care about the values of someone else's religion.

Are you actually going to come up with an argument? The one you're using so far is so generic it assumes I'm American.

are u seriously still arguing with me about the jay psychology ?

god shut the up and move on already.

I GET IT. YOU DONT LIKE ME AND THINK I'M A MORON.

I GET IT.

i promise you, i get it:)

Well there you go, you're not even from this country, so if you don't want to uphold our foundational ideals that's fine, but it also means I could give two s what you think we should and shouldn't do/believe is okay with our government.

I mean what do you want me to do, lay out the history of abuse of power by governments against their people? History is REPLETE with them it's not my job to be your info-nanny. If you think it's still okay to give human beings that type of carte blanche power over other humans even after an understanding of history, that's your folly, not mine and it makes me all the more thankful that you Don't live here.
