I love Vangelis music ... the man is a New Age legend.
This classic garage track was sampled by Phats & Small in 1999, and vocals also sampled in "I'm Hot For You" by L'Ill Louis, Canadian house legendary track from 1992 :)

Some good ol' disco-funk :D I bet you will recognize ALL these if you listened to Daft Punk. Because every single Daft Punk hit has been sampled or copied from some classic rock, disco, soul or funk song. Yes its true!

Great post. Keep that funk flowing.
I used to think that Daft Punk came up with their own music. How do they get away with using these obvious samples?

Here's a classic disco tune ... can you recognize who sampled it in 1998? That remake made a name for itself, becoming bigger than the original, actually ;) instrumentals in the remake were copied from "Jaydee - Plastic Dreams"

I love Orbital, but that track was one of the very few that Orbital ripped off ... 1988, Butthole Surfers :)

Man, I love Italian music :) Renato Carosone - amazing pioneer of Italian music scene in the 1950s/1960s. Several of his songs have been sampled since, notably:

Wicked tunes Magnetonium. You know what's good :) Renato Carosone is awesome!
Ah this is so sweet on the ears. It's theatrical classical music. 'Ritual Fire Dance' by Manuel De Falla. It's got a great call and response vibe to it.
