and also, i agree with max but i still love soul clap and the wolf + lamb releases right now.

look at soul clap - conscious. it varies very little from "conscious of my conscience" by womack and womack. they didn't even bother really re-arranging it that much, it's just the original track with a different percussive line, for the most part. and yeah, call it "womack + womack - conscious of my conscience (soul clap edit/remix/bootleg/whatever)", don't represent it as your own .

people got all pissed off when tiesto pawned off "adagio for strings" as his own, people got pissed when trentemoller's remix of "les djinns" got renamed, replaced with a 4x4 kick, and sold off as someone else's (check beatport for sampleage). why is it ok for soul clap to do so, but not anyone else? hypocritical.

again, i like soul clap. they rocked in chicago earlier this year. but from an ethical standpoint as producers, get the rights for the samples, or ing release it for free. straight-up plagiarism is one of the worst offenses in music, imo.

This. In fact, the whole point about Adagio/Les Djinns is probably one of the best arguments made in that particular discussion.

Yes! I'm about to in 3 weeks. What stuff did he play? More familiar tunes or more unreleased material?
JPlay
i wish i could see him live.

we had troy pierce over last weekend, as there are other promoters coming into the market, which means panama will have the opportunity to host other djs besides all those david guetta wannabe´s out there. :D
