It's far from hard, unless of course you're planning on working in an upmarket cocktail bar. |

I'm not going to lie, the little mixer/soda dispenser gun fascinates me.
HOW DOES THE SPRITE NOT TASTE LIKE COKE WHEN THEY BOTH COME FROM THE SAME NOZZLE?!? |

I'll assume that was a genuine question. The gun basically shoots soda water. The Coke and Sprite are actually concentrated liquids that mix in with the soda water. The gun I had was a bit dilapidated, and by slightly pressing in the Coke button I could get a trickle of Coke concentrate out the nozzle on its own. |

I was bound to be a bartender last summer, but the bar I was going to work ended up overstaffing, and they had to make cutbacks due to the whole economy bull declining business. But I'm sure I would have loved it, so I'm a little disappointed it didn't end up working out.
I'm not sure where I stand on the issue of 'do I go to bartending school?' I've heard from both sides of the coin. Some say it's a good thing to go, especially when you have little to no experience serving (if you were once a waiter, you'll have a 10x better chance of being hired as a bartender), but others say bartending school is a waste of money and won't promise you anything.
Either way, bartend at the right place, and you'll make boatloads. One of my brothers did it for one summer and one summer only, and made over $10,000. But that was a packed bar in a lively downtown area. It's all about the location. |

Yeah eventually i plan on getting a gig on a cruise ship. Mix some drinks and travel a bit! Can't go wrong with that! |
