Only on TA do people take confidence as pompous. People call Kanye West pompous, arrogant, and whatever other synonym there is for arrogance. But the REALITY (something you might hate) is, no one of importance actually gives a about his arrogance, people by the MILLIONS buy his music and enjoy his music, regardless of his perceivable arrogance.
I enjoy a lot of Kanye's work, even though I know he is very confident in himself, or some people would say self centered. At the end of the day, the music is the soul...the character, the image, and everything else is just a product of surroundings, conditioning, and society. And as long as he or anyone who is "arrogant" is making good music, i'm listening. So you can ridiculously call me "pompous" for believing in myself and my music, and i'll say "who gives a besides forum trolls?" I love me pompous characters in music, Hip Hop is full of them, if you think about it and stepped outside if your tiny box, part of the genre is basically built around being confident, or in your minds "pompous." While the rest of us who have been exposed to Hip Hop and many cultures see it as swaggar or confidence. So you can hate me all day for being confident in myself, my music, and my future. :p

lol, now you're comparing yourself to Kanye. He can actually pull it off, at least his attitude is entertaining. But the difference is that he has sold millions of albums, while you haven't done to validate yourself.

I dont have to pull it off, I dont act "arrogant" on TV, nor anywhere. Ofcourse we go back to there being a difference between arrogance and confidence. Besides even if I had to, i'm already pulling it off in the context of the music I make, and will continue making quality music. While you guys are doing what?
