+1.. It's way way above what you'd need.

Get one, you wont regret it. They're very nice to use. It's purely the price that is a C*nt.

How so? The cheapest 15" is pretty much exactly the same as the more expensive 13". Only thing better on it, is the bigger resolution it has (and the possibility to get a matte screen). Other than that, it's bigger and costs 200€ more. I'd get the 13" over the 15" even if someone paid for it.

Ah good call. Forgot about the base 15 incher. I was thinking even the base 15 had the two graphics cards in them but it and the 13 in both have only the single nvidia.

So in that case between those two i guess its a few hundred more for a bigger screen.

And obviously, a jump to the MID range 15 is a big jump from the 13 in.

I think the first unibody MBPs had all 2 graphics cards and the 13" unibody MBs had only one. That changed when the unibody 13" became a MBP too. And I think they lowered the price of the cheapest 15" one then too and made it more basic.

Having 2 graphics cards or a powerful graphics card isn't all that useful DJing wise though.

Ah yeah, I gotcha.

Yeah, not a huge difference but it is noticeable. My dad just got a mid range 15 in and my mom got a 13 in (Pro) and there's definitely a difference in "smoothness" and overall crispness. But lik you said, not anything close to a deal-breaker.

I almost got one today, but my damn credit card didn't have the option that allows me to split my purchase into monthly payments active. Since it was almost 8PM when I was at the store, they couldn't activate it right away and I have to wait until Monday.

Glad you love, personally though the white body is absolutely horrible. Such a pity they got rid of the black version. Much cleaner looking IMO.

I've got the last black model and I much prefer the black color over the silver one of the unibodys. Gonna have to go with the silver one next summer most likely though. :nervous:

They really should do a black anodized 14" MBP with 1440 x 900 matte display and otherwise the same size as the current 13". :eyespop:

Also DVD-drive could be replaced with a bigger battery or a second HDD. OMG! :eyespop:

What else? USB 3.0 and Light Peak would be nice too. FireWire 3200 will probably never happen though.
