On the slightly more practical side of things.
Hold down shift+Cmd and press 4
You'll see your cursor has now changed to a little target. Click and drag over anything you're looking at. Let go of the clicker and it'll take a screen show of what you've selected.
Hold down Shift +CMD and press 3 and it'll just take a full screen shot of your computer.
Any image you 'capture' will be saved on your desktop.
I use this a lot to record set running orders incase i delete a playlist or something by accident :) |

Since there's a lot of Mac people on this thread :p
I have the "Re-Open tabs from last session" option checked on the Google Chrome preferences but it doesn't work. Anyone else having this same issue? |

Just tried it and it worked for me at least. I don't use Chrome regularly though as I can't get it tweaked to my liking as good as Firefox, even though Firefox sucks otherwise.
Maybe you've closed just the window like on Windows, by clicking the red x? As that normally doesn't quit the application on OS X, but just closes the window. Try quitting apps with cmd + q instead. |
