The intro drags on a bit too long. Your saw bass seems a little weird, doesn't have "definition". While your song is starting off, play with the lead, bring it in and out to give it some flavor. Your melody is great, maybe more reverb on the lead, I'd say layer it and bring out the lows on the lead, shouldn't muddy up that much. You definitely have a great electro song, but it needs more elements to keep it interesting. I know its hard to find but trust me, you'll find the perfect one.
KEEP AT IT |

so yeah, the title says it all, and then exactly followed by everything sako said down to the wire... stay tuned guys
and sako thank you, nice to read *exactly* what has been going through the back of my mind for this production.
i'm in the "daze" phase. you know if you knock out a track in 2 hours and its a hit then you are of course going to become of the best in the world no doubt, or are already. Or some people who aren't the best in the world can do that too, but you know what I mean. If you have a brilliant idea and you want to nail it out, you will do whatever it takes, trust me.
So yes, I have spent at least 20 hours on this project in various passages of the day, and when I did that last bit I was delirious for a couple of reasons. Luckily I had a nice breakfast with coffee, but later that day I just was super anxious, my heart was beating so fast when I worked on the last bit of this. Sounds awful but it's kind of like being in love with a girl. The butterflies in my stomach were insane. the cohesive nature, everything. So much of this track is random, but natural.
Producers constantly mention how some of the best is made by accident. That's what this whole ing thing is. That release on the envelope of the main lead after the "breakdown" was already there, I didn't adjust it. I heard that and I said, "THAT STAYS". A few things just like that. Don't get me wrong, if I wouldn't have put in the foundation for that envelope (programmed that synth for days), eboagiahfgajugh blah bah
That is as much as I can write, I've had a few beers, I have a few other things to say but I think you guys understand the best of it, thanks.
*edit: must not omit that I smoked a bunch of really awesome pot with the coffee, and pretty much a whole pack of smokes in 5 hours
* beer edit * I do think this deserves a hi bitrate version though. This is stuff for really big systems and sound cloud s up the quality big time. 320K mp3 by tomorrow afternoon, gonna pass out tonight. But Sako, everything you said (can't think of anything else), if I actually nail that out, this is going to be worthy of the dancefloor. Few things are worthy my friend, I hope you agree.

| I do need to mention to other producers that Armin or others who have been known to make some of their best tracks in a few hours, worked really really hard to get there. I barely have my formula. Or, you could say being Dutch increases your probability of becoming a trance super star by 200 fold. As long as DJs and producers keep mimicking existing sounds to become successful themselves, they have already failed. |

| Does the bassline make anyone want to touch themselves or their partner? |

I agree with all that. One thing I'd like to add is maybe sidechaining a subbass to boost up the low end. Maybe some percussion/synth stabs, or a sub melody could be useful. |

| thanks man. :) Changed the chorus in the lead a little bit, and I A&B'd updates with updates7 and the lead seems to stand out more in updates. I don't know what the happened but this could mean hours more work to get it back because the arrangement def. stays. We'll see I guess. Now I need to sleep for 2 more days. Again. :D Ear pain, ow |

| It sounds like that lead has too much delay at 3:34, so the effect it has in updates pretty much goes away. and also, the other reason I was freaking out is because I had some compressor to make the output louder on the master of updates, and I did not have any thing on the master on updates7, it was totally clean... so yeah let me know what you think about that part with the delay too much. |
