I never said that, there are many news stories that are worth discussion. What i'm saying is that in this particular case there is nothing to discuss and as you can see in the last 4 pages of this thread no relevant news or information was posted related specifically to this incident or "news story". I find it worthless and pointless, especially when it's related to a murder. |

Fair enough. But as Margaret already said, message boards are meant to be places to post things like "That's too bad, my thoughts are with the family" etc. etc. And this story is obviously not closed, so when more news comes up, this thread would be the place to post it. The people who want this thread closed keep saying they think we should give this guy his privacy and that this isn't the place that they're worried that people are going to assume he's a cold-blooded murderer before the story unfolds. Well, not only are we not invading his privacy by talking about a news story on a public forum, but unless I missed it, no one has made any assumption that he's already guilty. |

lol.....wait a minute? As much as I appreciate you having "respect for my privacy" and all that, I do find this comment a bit funny since it's the second time you've brought it up on TA in the last week. So I'm assuming the comment was pertaining to "other" people on here and not yourself.
To be honest, I have no problem with people discussing what happened and assumed that everyone already had. Whether I like it or not, I'm in the "publics eye" when it comes to our scene and therefore I can't be surprised when my actions are discussed publically.
As for this topic, I had just heard the terrible rumor and couldn't find out anything on TV as I'm in Van. The first place I thought of posting my question was TA, knowing that this invloved our scene. As I already stated, I wasn't trying to talk about negative things or make any judgements. I just honestly didn't know what was happening and thought you guys could shed some light. |
