So you don't think that hundreds of years of Spanish rule gave Philipinos any Spanish genes at all???
I mean, they never bred with each other???
Maybe they just married eachother ( for the names) but never had kids??? |

You have no idea how many cousin's clint has on his dad's side! Its amazing! Well over 100. ;) |

Hmmm... don't take Holmes at face value. I've heard many complaints from many of the sub-trades that we both use. I've been told he's arrogant and has to have his own way... always. I remember being told that a day's shoot was lost because he wouldn't listen to one of his trades advice and the job for that day had to be redone. I've also heard that he has a lawsuit or two levied against him because of "problems".
He's not the saint you all think he is. |

Ya...he really seemed like a jerk off for fixing my brother's house above and beyond what they originally had promised. He was a real tool at the BBQ my brother threw for the crew and workers (who didn't seem to have a problem with Holmes) afterward too. He didn't like the way Fred was cooking the hamburgers so he had to get on the BBQ and cook them for everyone himself. |

Don't be like that. Just because things worked out perfect for you, that's one thing. I'm not suggesting that everything he does has problems, but it's the stuff that get edited out from time to time that you don't hear about. I'm in that trade and I hear many things you guys don't. Don't shoot off the sarcasm so fast, unless your in the same field as us. |

The thing I didn't like in your post was that you made it sound like Mike Holmes had never done anything good for people, and that no matter what, he always has to have his way. In fact those were the words you used. You're right, I'm not in your field, so I can't speak for everyone in your field of work. But regardless, he is a saint for all that he has done for my brother and all of the other families that have been on his shows. If it weren't for them, they would be in massive amounts of debt, and possibly worse. |

That's really awesome, Lisa! Did they do this during the summer?

Learn to spell. Also, you are just saying these things based on what you heard through the grapevine. Have you ever met him? Did he do work with/for you? Of course the show will encounter a few issues here and there, but I'm sure that's the way it is for pretty much every reality-type home improvement show. Lisa's brother had a very positive experience with Holmes. Actions speak louder than words. |
