LOL... I've seen many of those gals... that's OK.
As for many of the fix-ups, I wonder how many of them were actually necessary in some of the shows. We joke about it many times on our job-sites that we should just "tear it all down"! I mean don't get me wrong, I've see some of the pure garbage he's found in some of those houses and scratch my head on how ANYONE could possibly produce it. Unfortunately there's many bad for the few good because anyone can do the work, just too many don't get it done right. I've come across a few good ones myself over the many years of building stores. I don't want to even tell you about how many of these places who serve "you the customer" are run. No matter where you look, it's everywhere if you look hard enough. This is what I do and this is what I see. In the end if guys like Mike do way more good, then isn't that where it counts? |

Yes, it was all done this past summer for a couple of months. We were all excited to finally see the episode.

theres one thing i noticed after watching the second part of this that really bugged the hell out of me...
you brother constantly needs to have his hand on his girl. like he cant just leave her alone for a minute. looks like an insecurity to me.
but goddam she is so damn cute. especially when she was wearing that red tank top with her curls looking at the house after its complete. lol |

lol He's not like that in reality, I swear! haha There were a lot of things that the producers have them do to look more homey/likable on the show. i.e. snuggling by the fireplace sipping tea, holding hands while walking the dog in the park etc. |

i hope you're right.
i used to have a friend that was the same way with his girl. he even had to have one arm around her while eating dinner! it was pathetic. lol |

same lol if some minor mistake occurs we're all like "take it down" "take the house down", thing is when holmes first came out he gave the average contracted a bad name, constantly putting them down and ALOT of people in renovations dont like the guy. and when he goes above and beyond in the show he says thats how it needs to be done, know what the reality is? it's expensive and customers are cheap as hell, always trying to get the cheapest deal. if you have the money to do something to your house and know the right people for the job otherwise wait
