Shortly I'll be heading east for the next couple months.
Has Digweed or Sasha ever played at BeB? Just saw Diggers twice the past week and both times he played phenomenal sets. Some of my favorites of the past few months. Sasha, little more hesitant. Guy plays what he likes, but may not play what we want

I'm not talking about all mnml with that last comment but the actual producer.
Yea definitely not the kind of minimal I like.... For me this is total lol.
Gimme stuff like Barem - So Serial
and this :P
With a 40000 watt soundsystem sounds very very hawt :p But even Lukic is now making tech house.. ugh... Whatever new faces come old faces go...
Anyways just off topic,
I heard Louis mention the loss of cigarette sponsorships killing good bookings in Aria times, what was all that about???
Schadenfreude
Benson And Hedges used to give Aria obscene amounts of money to sponsor and carry their products. It is why the club could book huge acts that no one else would touch because of the huge fees on their riders.

In europe this is still a huge trend I believe. I see tons of sponsorships everywhere at European massives, be it cigarettes, soft drinks, beer, whatever.... I think Bal En Blanc is doing it(not with smokes) is there some kind of regulation in Canada against this or does no afterhour want to take the initiative.
Stereo for example is getting 700-800 people every Saturday, it could work and really increase their booking budget, so they could book Hex Hector and Ceasar Bas Romero 7 times a week for 8 hour extended sets :p

it is illegal now.
kanaBEATya
definitely illegal for cigarettes.
but if you look at for example piknic electronik, i am almost 100% sure they are sponsored by at least one beer company and one energy drink company.
is there a special law for clubs and massives? perhaps. i wouldnt know. stereo and any energy drink company would be a good match i think.

it also does not hurt that the government gives them the venue;)

Heineken is the main sponsor at Resolution.
84th Ave.
sadly the scene (massives in particular) is dying or its dead already
