I'm in Waterloo next week... what's good?

Gotta go for work and training, Sunday night till Friday afternoon (maybe return for a couple extra days the following week).

But, what's good? I can't bend it out propah because I gotta take this training seriously and there will be others with me who will tattle tale to my boss of any extreme wrong doings.

But totally game for a few drinks and decent places to eat...

I know school is back next week, so that should make it a show...

Any recomendations?

Morty's Bar. best wings you will ever have in your life. on King and Hickory street. must go there.

Not as good as they used to be I'm afraid. But still good wings.

Cheep beer at the Huether. Decent pub across the street called McMullins if I remember correctly. Both are on King.

If you want to catch a movie, check out the Princess Cinema on Princess St. (right around the corner from the Huether), they typically show things that most theaters don't & they have the best damn theater popcorn going.

Jane Bond (if it's still there) is right across from the Princess cinema and makes killer martinis & has good vegetarian food.

If you want a show, go to Phil's at King & University roughly. Cheapest drinks anywhere & the stink of spilled beer & vomit always reminds you & everyone else there that it's supposed to be a show so drink more!

That's about it from off the top of my head, but it's been some time since I was in Waterloo.

Ah Phil's Grandson's... my first year of University I saw a guy get thrown into a wall in the pool room; 4 years later the hole was still in the wall. Remember the constant floods? Honestly, I cannot remember being at Phil's and the water level on the floor not rising to at least an inch by 1am.
The Ear
The constant floods, spilled beeer everywhere, & let's not forget the first rule of Phil's: do not, under any circumstances, touch/lean on the top of the tables lest you become stuck there.

During university that was my favourite place. Pure shenanigans.

check out this new club called tabu, it's the old "fubar". i haven't been yet but aparantley it emits a toronto party vibe, dressy, plays house mostly, expensive drinks, the whole shebang

can't go wrong with morty's wings on a monday or thursday (cheaper with purchase of drink)

symposium is a nice lounge
