Lynn Johnston, the creator of For Better or For Worse, named the dog in the comic Farley - after Farley Mowat.

Yeah, that's a pretty cool name.

Sadly, it would most likely make me shout Yo! Varus! when I wanted your attention :p

In fact, I might start doing that :o

When I was working in Manchester one summer a couple of years ago they used to call me Joe, damn employers couldn't even write my name properly on the name card, they spelled it Joevarous or smth. Now, I understand it's tough for them to pronounce it, but they could've atleast looked at some paperwork and spell ir correctly.:[

It's really not that hard to pronounce at all. 3 syllables, seriously?

I plan to name my first son Marie. Once he gets teased, the spirit of Bruce Lee will visit him and teach him karate. And my son will become the greatest ever.

Sometimes my ideas are so beautiful they make me cry.

Exactly :D

They're the only people, apart from close friends, that call me "Marcus" in real life (and I never understood why they say it with an "r" in the middle - even in Portuguese, my pronunciation of my own name is similar to how you'd say it yourself, yet they feel the need to flap their "r"... go figure :p)
Ian
