yeah, I especially like 'something' :)
James cos it's my middle name &my grandfathers too, Alexander cos it's not overdone and I'm a caps fan lol
Isabella I Like, it's the name of a waitress from my fave restaurant abroad and she was just so bubbly, funny and happy that she either had a great & happy upbringing, or was on a lot of coke, either way, if my daughter ends up the same, I'd be happy :p |

I see where you're coming from and, in theory, I completely agree. Kids just don't think like we do and, if you give them a name that can be torn apart by heartless five year-olds, it'll leave some scars. That's just the way it is. |
Yeah, but I would have hated to have a different name for that reason, although I never really had any issues with Clovis growing up.
Having a unique name is a great asset later in life I think. |

Any kid named that would be doomed to be the most boring, plain, child that has an uncanny ability to make you consider suicide.
I vote no on this one.
As for Farley, maybe it's because we're older and it wont matter to kids in a few years, but I immediately envision Chris Farley and him doing ridiculous things. |

Lira =
and
Marcus = Marcus Aurelius

You actually have the same hair as him.
But I digress, the important thing is to keep things in perspective. It shouldn't be all about you because your kid is the one who has to live with the name. A person makes the name not the other way around. |

yeah but that's what people said about rowan at first, you know, rowan atkinson (mr. bean/black adder) but no one would think about it now.. it would wear off
that's kind of like me saying 'theresa? that's like mother theresa!' :tongue2 |

I suppose I am one of those people who tends to associate names to people/things/events and if my first thought when a name is said relates to something undesirable, I don't like it.
Unfortunately with Farley, I think of a fat silly man. Haha! |
