make sure the kick or snare or whatever is on its own channel, then add somethin like guitar rig and run it through the tuner to see what note its hittin and then adjust the pitch as necessary. Or run the sound out from ur sound card to a guitar tuner! I tried it before and it works.
Its kind of hard with the snare/claps but with the kick it almost always works |

Ok, thanks. I heard that violinists in an orchestra have to know how to bend their pitch to match the rest of the instruments. Is that the same thing? |

Then Existo drop mad science on your PUNK ass and tell you how the 808 is in G#.
Then instead of taking it like a man you come around and say that the 808 is in Ab when it exactly the same pitch. Why Because you a no music tard opportunist that think he can engineer when he don't even know the basics in the recording and mixing game.

By the way, the 808 kick is actually A flat ;) |
Then you got the nerve to say that tuning one shots is a ''gimmick''
And that come from somebody who callz himself an engineer. :nervous:
Someone who gonna eq the god damn track :nervous:

Like peeps have been doin' for tweny tirty yearz now!
But I bet your clueless punk no music opportunist ass think thats a gimmick too. Very convenient to dismiss the whole recording theory as a gimmick when you don't know it. ;) Ha. ;) Keep buying new gear bitch and looking for the sound. It's like giving a ferrari to somebody who can't drive. You ain't gonna get nowhere playboy... Shiiiet.
And no you can tune the drums to the track. Believe that :disbelief The drum key is not ''just for tightening the drum headz'' Oh no Playboy ;) Don't make me tell you what itz really fo and how the pros use it and embarrass your clueless punk ass.

Protip:
When you get banned it doesn't mean you should just create another (and another and another and another) account. It means you are not wanted. |

Not quite. The reason I mentioned has to do with voice leading. Notes with a sharp accidental not included in the key signature tend to be leading tones to the tonic and playing them a little sharper adds a little bit of tension that makes the resolution a bit more appealing. Orchestras do tune to each other as unlike a piano, they can play pure 5ths which a piano cannot. It all depends on the type of music and the caliber of musicians. Tuning is actually a rather complex topic especially when orchestras start incorporating instruments that have unconventional tuning like a piano for example. |
