I am not sure if I agree with that.
Seems to me that a large majority of Arts classes are primarily analytical, making comparisons, working out hypothetical situations etc. etc. whereas Science is usually more factual and concrete. |

Hmmm, I didn't know that was the idea. Seems ridiculous, but whatever.
Anyway, I am in first year and I have completed all the mandatory classes I can take up to this point... so I am just taking random for interest sake.
I don't really care a whole lot... just need to get through this so I can get my Bachelor of Education.
It's funny how all the Sciences students think they are far more superior to the Arts students (not necessarily directed to you Jenny... unless of course you are of that opinion, in which case, you.)
Haha! |
It's not all science students who are smarter than arts students but it's certainly a clear majority.
I mean come on, most of arts courses aren't even moderately difficult, nor are they useful for anything other than increasing your pretentiousness level. Oh and good luck getting a solid job with an arts degree, unless it's communication.
Education is a great way to go though. Plenty of jobs and opportunity for growth. |

Lol, I don't think that at all. However, I do have to say that I've always noticed a huge gap in the level of thinking between nursing students and students from other programs any time I've taken an elective. :o |
Lol, awww *hug*
but seriously, the vocalist is singing about the band members, not us! |

You’re forgetting about the wealth of jobs on the dol- I mean in the government :D |

| I've said it before: it's easier to blag an arts degree. |

It's too much effort these days. I swear it's easier to find and keep a job than it is to get government payouts. I went on the youth allowance thing for a month while I was looking for full time work and I dead set wanted to commit suicide by the end of the 4th week. |

en dole bludger :haha:
Worst thing was I found a job but wasn't starting for another 4 weeks, yet they wanted me to keep looking for jobs until I started to get paid. Err...who is going to employ me for a month? I had to do 10 applications a week.
I just called them and said it, I don't want the extra grand or whatever it was. Too much effort. |
