Whatever happened to that place anyways? Looked a little small but a pretty nice setup.

Club Level.

No idea what happened to it

I was speaking purely on a basis of producing, not DJing, so I am still holding to that opinion.

But it looks like he has some solid track selection, still pretty poppy, fluffly, generically uplifting, but better than most nowadays...

Did you miss my post in the Wallbridge thread where I said I thought Chimera was an extremely solid track?
BaxStar
ya i saw that and im lookin forward to hearing gareth drop it...he loves wallbridge so i'm hopin to hear solidaritet too
djnitride
would be cool if gareth drops any new tracks he has been producing... I understand the whole quality over quantity thing, thats just what trance needs atm
BaxStar
ya that would be a very pleasant surprise...did you end up goin to that party or "once in a blue moon" for nye...i remember we were talkin about tritonal on that other thread and how much we both wanted to see them...ur lucky if you went to ur party tho b/c the highs were completely cut out during tritonal...they brought out christina solo and you couldnt hear

nah I ended up having a dj gig for some friends which was pretty fun, but I played mainly top 40 stuff and cliche edm like daft punk, darude because they were not big on it. It was a pretty crazy night, had alot of fun :D. Kindof glad I didn't go actually, hearing about the sound disaster.

That's the one. Looks like another ghetto joint took over that space.
BaxStar
well this one will be worth comin' out for...its gonna be a great night
djnitride
im ready believe me! weekend before that I got a dj gig as well, good timing.

I like comsic gate but I think their track selection is far on the generic side. Gareth seems to have more in the variety section, which I love in a dj.
BaxStar
ya i agree with both those statements...i saw cosmic gate last february it was a great show and i like their slightly heavier sound but definitely a bit generic...that set-list from gareth thats posted on here is great

yeah... agreed. I just hope he keeps the cheese and generic uplifting buildup/breakdown crap to the minimum... I just want to dance, not jump around like a crackhead lol.
