I NEVER watched CityTV for anything. I have always watched other channels.
I wasn't into EC and didn't like Speakers Corner either. And to watch 6 o'clock news on their channel for me was just downright painful. So for me it never matters what was taken away when Rogers took over. |

I hear what some of you are saying, I watched it sometimes, point is they had some original programming that went down the tubes b/c of management/political reasons, booooooooooo.
The one thing I remember is everytime Mike Myers would come to TO he'd go on Speaker's corner with his Leaf's jacket on and do stuff like "Hey Toronto, it's Mike." and just talk to the city for a few min, it was hilarious. :)
We need more stuff like that...not less and less. |

never watched any of that plus I never watched news on ANY channel
I just catch my shows and watch discovery channel on the weekends sometimes |

pss..I've always had an issue with CityTv for trying to be overly culturally diverse with their broadcasters. I realize that they were trying to relate to the city as a whole...but sometimes, it came off a little too contrived...imo... |
