Not bad Lira, I like that type of DnB. |
Really? Thanks, maybe I should work on it - it's been 4 or 5 years since I last finished a track :p |

About the same for me, maybe 6 or 7 might be closer though :p
I didn't even know you produced. |

It's been one of my favourite hobbies since my early teens: I took a break during my undergraduate studies after I became frustrated with a few technical details like compression and equalisation.
By the way, I didn't know you produced :p What genre? |

I used to produce Big Beat/Breaks. I tried some trance, but it was awful. Actually, the big beat/breaks were pretty crap too :p
Looking back, I don't think I've even started a track in 4 or 5 years :( My gf and I still have some cool keyboards/samplers/gear (she used to produce too), but none of it has even been set up for a while now, except for the sampler hooked up to my gf's computer. Can't bring ourselves to sell it :p |

| "Sushipunk and Sashimihardcore" would be an awesome name for a big beats act :D |

I told her a couple of weeks ago that you've nicknamed her Sashimihardcore :p She lol'd. |

| Well, I don't know her name and that's the best feminine for "Sushipunk" I could think of. I tried to come up with a feminine version of Stu but "Star" sounds like the nickname of a girl Boris would want to bonk :( |

Her name is Belinda (or 'Bel' to nearly everyone). |

Shortening multi-syllable names is the Australian way.
Sadly, lengthening single-syllable names is also the Australian way.
In many cases, a multi-syllable name will be shortened, and then re-lengthened to something else.
Go figure :conf: |
