Seems to me they are one of the few acts out there geniunely making an effort and not just trawling off stuff almost automatically though a generic PC/MAC program.

Pretentious is right...and they're as guilty as the rest in terms of re-using templates and sound pallets. I think the incorporation of actual orchestral sessions tends to make some forget/overlook this fact.
