Wait im still confused! So what happens to the second person with the band, I have to be there with them every time they wanna get in somewhere? Why do they make it such a hassle?
No, you only have to be with them when you pick both bands up at the same time.
I mean I can understand that they want to prevent sharing of the bands, which is probably why Cool1g said they put it on you right when you pick it up, nice and snug im sure so u cant slip it off.... But what a mission!
Actually not a mission at all. We had no problems picking the bands up and getting in immediately at every door (Space, Parkwest and Surfcomer). Never had a problem at the bars either.
My GF and I were thinkin about gettin the bands, but she wont be in town till later on in the week, so what happens then? I need some hard facts cuz it sounds like too much of a mission when im already gonna be givin them like $1200...
Pick your band up early, then take her there with you when she gets there. Simple |

Couldn't have said it better myself. These bands were the greatest thing ever last year.
Also, when you go with your friend to pick up her band, make sure you have YOUR ID and credit card used to buy the bands. |

| Special wristbands that will get you into space and its pool parties all week, along with open bar. They are a tad expensive each year, and this year wont even include a few venues like Cameo, as they have in the past. I just thought it was curious that the above poster said that his/her entire trip depends on these. IMO, they are only worth it if you plan on spending nearly every night at space, every day at it's pool parties, while drinking a lot. In that case, they are a very cool option. |

Basically with this wristband you get to say you to the line (capacity, line a mile away...whatever) and you get to say you to paying for drinks (unlimited)
To the point that the bartender makes me drink a free incredible hulk (cuz thats my drink) before she will give me a free bottle of water! |

| well... i am extremely disappointed that cameo is not included this year: the venue was a block from my apartment and they treated us so well. no lines, VIP section and booze included. don't forget parkwest is included and pacha is also hosting a bunch of parties which may or may not be included (wish they'd get the frickin' bands out already!!). i don't know about anyone else, but when i'm partying at a club for 6-8 hrs i have at least one drink an hour plus water.... in miami, that's a ton of cash. dress the VIP part too and they treat you very well- can go early, have some drinks... leave, come back whatever. there are a couple of other parties that are not to be missed that are elsewhere but the entry fees are cheap and i just don't drink that much :tongue2 |

Hey gang!
Real quick on the You bands:
We're currently figuring out just what they are going to get you.
Now I can tell you that they will not grant access to Cameo this year. We sold Cameo to another nightlife group who has since converted it into a hip-hop club. Doesn't make sense for us to tell you to go to the competition.
Parkwest was sold to other interests as well, however the venue is being rented by Pacha from NYC and we're looking to work with them on getting you guys band access.

whats more depressing is look at the line-up for space so far...unless you LOOOOOVE Boris and PVD its not shaping up for much excitement...other than VIVA its a waste IMO...
I had a band 2 years ago, it was like being a god for a week...seriously..i had major hangups coming back to the "real world" where you pay for drinks and have to wait in line with a paper ticket...
But that year the lineup at Space, Cameo, ParkWest, Surfcomber was unstoppable and incredibly worth the $800 that band cost...
I'd get one this year just for Viva and the pool parties if they're like $200... |
