I had a band 2 years ago, it was like being a god for a week...seriously..i had major hangups coming back to the "real world" where you pay for drinks and have to wait in line with a paper ticket...

But that year the lineup at Space, Cameo, ParkWest, Surfcomber was unstoppable and incredibly worth the $800 that band cost...

I'd get one this year just for Viva and the pool parties if they're like $200...

I'm down with a little Tech trance at times and really curious to see Sander Van Doorn. Also, Drumcode in the loft on Friday is gonna be freaking nuts. Beyer, Ritch and Engberg is massive. And yes, Viva is gonna be a good night. I'm planning on hitting the Tong pool party for a while too and with the way we drink the band makes sense if it's reasonably priced.

Too bad there isn't another band for SSFD, Get Lost and Sci+Tec

Sci+Tec is included in the Opium group's band, but theres no open bar and its $600. I was leaning towards this up until yesterday...its not worth the money and the parties are good, but not THAT good...
I'd miss out on too much other good stuff :)

Enjoy it, I love the whole concept of the band + have so many awesome memories from that week with the band..and I salute Space for keeping it up even though they lost(sold) a lot of clubs and its not what it used to be...for me at least

that is exactly how i feel: think we may have hit the best of it. i can't imagine it'll be as good as it used to be :(

2008 was the best year...also the first year they did the band.
there were only 2 dozen bands sold, so it really was like we were true VIP. Def worth the money.

There goes any chance of me considering the band. $1000 is just too much and there is no way I'd get my moneys worth.

LOL! I paid $500 last year for what the $1000 band gets you this year minus Cameo.

This is lucicrous. Space just lost a lot of business to other parties...

suckers....

the Opium pass is $600 with no bar, but at least it covers MUCH better parties than the Space band does.

R.I.P. F You Band. you were good while you lasted...

Cool1g
they should call it the 'f*ck that' band this year :whip:

Seems to me like the 2008 band was the only one really worth it...great price, great parties...2009 wasn't bad though I guess...but this year, it's starting out at $1,080? Ridiculous for the line-up involved.
