Very cool new gadget, check it out:

but meh, its basically like a big ipod touch. it would be cool if you could have word or something to take notes with in class, to be more laptop-like. $500US is expensive for a big ipod |

Its a nice idea, but it could have been so much better.
Should have used a light Mac OS and have a front-facing camera.
Would I get it probably not, seeing there is no use for me to have something like that anymore. Seeing I don't take enough classes for something that small and light. If they came out with this a good 3-4 years ago, it would have been a great product.
They should have never added 3G on this thing, it just makes it an over sized iPhone which is crazy. |

Ita nice and dandy, but whats the ing point of this thing? What is its main purpose?
Why don't Mac decide to make affordable netbooks.. ing $600 9" netbook with Mac OSX or whatever OS they're using now.. that's something a load of people would buy, including me. |

no mac os. starting at 500$ for 16gb of space. 1 ghz. and extra 140$ for 3gs. can't multitask (ie. can't do 2 things at once), can't install outside applications other than those available for the iphone. there's no camera. no build-in sd reader. no flash. you need a freaking adapter just to hook up a usb device!!! oh yah, and it has a 4:3 screen, this thing is almost going backwards in time, lol.
what does this gadget have??? geez. this is supposed to replace net books? no way in hell. |
