You know I've enjoyed my 5 day weekend. But damn. I've never seen snow shut down an area like this before. All the surrounding streets up to Wisconsin Ave still aren't plowed.
We're suppose to get hit again tomorrow. |

where I am, they've pretty much never closed school in history for snow, so I'm ed either way-- but as long as it doesn't keep me from Ferry, I don't give either way. :tongue2

I got yelled at by a cop for digging out my car and throwing the snow in the road. I was under the impression that a snow plow would come through but apparently DC legit is not capable of handling this weather. It's a little ridiculous.
The plows go up and down the main streets and all side residential streets are pretty much ed I guess. There are so many people parked on both sides of the street, all plows can do is clear 1 lane per street and in doing that they bury all the cars, thus making it worse. I had to park in the grocery store parking lot because everything is snowed in or the plow pushed all the snow blocking any available street parking. this is retarded.
some girl tried to drive her mini cooper down a side street and I had to tie a rope to the trailer hitch on my jeep and pull her retarded ass out. Who drives a mini in 3 ft of snow? Oy vey.
I should have just flown to palm beach and met up wit the dukes on thursday night. man. I could be on the beach instead of sitting here doing ...
and the grocery stores are still out of milk EVERY DAY. they get it in, its gone. what's with that? It's like people think they will never go shopping again.

So the snow that's coming our way is supposed to hit us hard. And no one will be spared, lol. 10-14 inches expect on the Island.
Now I work nights and was wondering if the weather will be this bad, wouldn't the weather cause the store to close for the night? Doubt it, but you never know :p |
