Ok my school just sent out an email saying that classes are cancelled after 1pm.

NOOOOOOO... god damnit. that sucks.
oswego, rochester, im from syracuse man. This snow here in DC is like... kind of bad, sure. but like, they dont know how to plow roads in DC.. they do a couple main roads and thats it. side streets are left to fend for themselves. I dug out the other day from the first wave and parked my in a garage at school. fuuuuck
i cant even see out my windows they're covered with snow. haven't had class since friday. doubt ill be back til monday at the earliest. |

No snow day for me today. I got up super early thinking I would be at work on time but then it took me 20 minutes to get my car out of the parking space after it was already shoveled out. The entire area under me was extremely icy. I made it in, albeit 40 minutes late but so was everyone else pretty much.
I hope the company is nice enough to bring in lunch for us today since our building cafeteria is closed and I don't feel like going anywhere till it's time to go home. |

i was out plowing till about 10 pm last night then i got relieved. the snow last night was terrible here on the island sunrise highway and the LIE were a complete mess! went home ate the first meal i'd eaten all day smoked a bowl put on a good trance set, watched entourage on dvd and passed out :)
now im at the office and the roads are somewhat fine. at least its warm in here :) |
