i liked Lange as well... Last 45 minutes or so of Ferry wasn't too bad, but i totally agree with Greg about the bass in his sets. Kinda off-putting for me, especially that volume. Just makes it sound like really uninteresting mashed i-can-only-enjoy-this-loaded crap.... okay it wasn't terrible, but I was definitely bored for a while there. And HO BOY those strobe lights. I think i need a new prescripton now. I feel like I am still seeing them a day later.
LOVED Fila's set. I had never seen him before and it was great :) I'd definitely want to see him again.
We'd never been to the Palladium before - nice location, lots of space, good security. I get kinda dismayed by all the dildery with these all-ages things of late. Watching people fscked out of their minds is just really sad for me. We spent a lot of time upstairs on that right side balcony because it seemed like there was *more* of the raver kiddie crap going on downstairs than up. It was nice a cool, "fresh" air, we could see well (good for the shorties we brought with us!) and the ladies rooms up there were freaking spotless. THANK YOU.
It was nice seeing a few TAs as well! |

| what a great party. I thought Lange's set was amazing, hope there's a track list somewhere. It was my first time at the Palladium and I enjoyed the venue very much. However, the set up of the stage looked dull to me, and the excessive use of the strobe was a bit much. Nice running into some TAs! |

funny, when we complain about the obvious BS that goes on at these parties over and over; you know you've been doing this too long. Its not gonna change.
But those who are tired of the outta control stuff that goes on, talk or write to your local politician. When the political hammer drops it breaks many times. Unfortunately, the biggest promoter in town would feel the affects, but its nothing a well paid lawyer could not fight. Unless someone has hook ups in Sacramento, things could change real fast for the "Rave" scene or EDM parties in general. |

| Was pretty much what I expected except there were clearly less people than Kaskade @ Palladium last year. Oh, and the drinks even if strong were really not good; with only 2 drinks I had a hangover the next morning. |

I think he played "Out of the Sky" (not sure if it was Kyau & Albert Remix) |
