haha... no lights allowed in huh? :)
I was pleased with the setup. The temperature and noise levels were pretty good. There was more than enough room to dance.
Security made sweeps frequently and was friendly when telling people to not sit down on the floor.
The confetti and streamer cannons were big crowd pleasers.
Ferry played a few of his old classics like "Out of the Blue" and "L.E.F." Overall, a very nice night. I wasn't blown away by Lange or Aly&Fila, but they did decent enough. |

Ferry was awesome!!! Well, his first hour kinda put me to sleep, and then BAM!!!! As we were about to leave he dropped Synasthesia. That's when I told my GF that we had to stay cuz he was about to drop his classics. He then dropped some hard that I wish I knew the names of. Hehehe
He didn't do an encore, instead, he introduced the Fila.
I wanted him to play Punk so my girlfriend could hear it and see the crowd go nuts, but he didn't. I was actually pretty surprised he didn't play any of his other big hits like Rock Your Body Rock, Fire, Made of Love, Force of Gravity. That bummed me out cuz I really wanted to hear Force of Gravity. That's one of my all time favorites.
I suck with the new titles, but the old ones I remember he played....
The Thrillseekers - Synasthesia (Ferry Corsten Remix)
Ferry Corsten - Beautiful
System F - Out Of The Blue 2010
Ferry Corsten - L.E.F. |

The event did have some bad things I didn't like.
What was up with all the fights & people getting taken to the ambulances outside? We saw 3 fights and security was nowhere to be found. People in the crowd ended up breaking them up and kicking people out themselves. That was not cool.
The event was promoted as 18+ but it was actually ALL AGES. There were little kids all over the place. We were at the front with Michelle & gang, but the crowd got so rude & pushy we left upstairs and finally we moved back downstairs by the guys doing visuals. It seemed like that was the only decent place to be at.
Upstairs was a whole different issue. That was a en crackhouse. That's where most e-tards were. They were all over the floor that I had to be careful where I was walking so I wouldn't step on top of them. Upstairs was really bad, specially the right side of the stage where the big patio is. Same goes for the little lounge upstairs, that was bad.
When we were upstairs, we were sitting down on some rails, than all of the sudden the guy next to us stars fingering the girl he was with. They didn't even do it discretely. They went all out to the point where she was having an orgasm. Everyone was just looking and they didn't give a . Security was nowhere to be found.
    |
