at first i read MCL and thought only that and know that MCL is much easier to rehab then ACL. But a triad is serious and you'll definitely need that MRI. Good luck bro, find some sitting hobbies maybe take up crocheting or some

Plenty of professional footballers have come back from cruciate ligament injuries. Michael Owen, for example.

Owen had to get sold to United before he could play more than one game without ing up his groin. Even now he hardly sees any play time...and cabbage head certainly won't pick him up for England. Maybe Owen was a bad example :p

His ed up groin doesn't have much to do with his knees.

My mom completely tore her ACL skiing about 16 or so years ago. I can't remember if they took tendon from another part of her body or they took it from a dead person, but either way they had to completely rebuild it.

If its only a partial tear... I've heard it can heal on its own. At least according to uhhh... Citric, who said she had partially torn hers twice when she skied competitively. She favored it and stayed off of it till it "healed."

Then again its Citric, so who knows.

She did ski competitively though, and ACL injuries in skiing are really common so it doesn't seem that far fetched. I have known a few other people that had really minor damage to their ACL and didn't have any surgery on it as well, but I don't think they were tears, just bad pulls or something.
