Losing your teeth in a dream? (pg. 5)

I need to graduate and get a different job, and start REALLY working, and then pursue more education.
I've just been doing the same work/school thing for years now, and it's boring as well as limiting. Loving it doesn't make it any more exciting at this point in time.
Or perhaps it's just that I'm so used to change being a result of major disruption in my life and accompanied by stress. Because I've actually done a lot the past year alone, but none of it seemed like work or posed a challenge to me.
I guess this is why I want to work in trauma. :p |

| Yeah, the I went through last weekend was honestly exciting, felt like the first thing to kind of "happen" to me in a few months and made me realize I kind of need that sort of thing. It's ty to say, because the man was going through a lot of mental troubles and needs so much help, but it kind of woke me up to the fact that I quite enjoy thinking on my feet, so to speak. :p |

It's a common dream to have when you have stress or worries on the mind.
I have always had teeth dreams (loose teeth, cracking teeth, falling out teeth, missing teeth, etc.) at times when I had negative on my mind - mostly worries about failures irl. |
I used to get them all the time in the past when I had severe confidence issues as a teen. Haven't had one in my adult life as I am a much happier and stress-free person now. |

I bet you'd make a good paramedic. |

| I've thought about EMT training quite a bit. Thing is, I want to move away from night shifts with my chosen line of work - not having a circadian rhythm really eats at me over time, I've found. But it's definitely something I will consider. |

How often do you currently work night shifts? Is it like a week on/week off type thing? Or is just a couple of night shifts thrown in here and there?
I mean, I feel you on the irregular hours thing, but I truly love the change (hah) that comes with shift work. I personally need that kind of variation to not feel like I'm stagnating. |

I work 7am-3pm Mon, Tues, Wed, then do 11pm-7am on Fri and Sat Nights, every week. It was fine at first, but 2 years of constantly going back and forth has really ed with my sleep/mood. I am sure some of you have noticed I can be... erratic. I don't even know if I was always this way or not.
//I have just recently started taking Melatonin supplements and stopped smoking (anything) cold turkey. It's weird to be able to remember my dreams, I hadn't for a few years. |

God, can't imagine having black sleep every night. Welcome back then. |

ive never had a dream that involved teeth.

just tongue
I had a few a few weeks ago where my teeth were punched out. Then I tried to negotiate with my attacker to stop and my teeth were falling out like coins.
I had a dream a few nights ago where dogs were mauling my cousin. I haven't seen my cousin in 10 years, so he was still in baby form. |

I really wish I could have a sex dream. Haven't had one of those (that I remember) in yearssss. |
I get those very easily, one or two nights without sex or masturbation and I immediately dream about having sex. Also, interestingly, I had like one or two nightmares in my entire life. Most of my dreams (including the sexual ones) are quite bizarre with illogical pattern and without any scary stuff. Tried to interpret them but without success. :p |
