.....and, as I posted elsewhere, these are some things I do in preparation for the stress of the week:

-No more caffeine until Maimi. Adds a real boost then when you introduce it back into your system.

-Very little alcohol between now and then. Lower tolerance is easier on the wallet.

-Start cutting off a few minutes of sleep each night, so that any possible nap down there becomes a little more effective.

-Gotta start eating a little less, so the body gets used to running on less fuel.

-No more spending extra money.... on anything.

best response ever!!!!!!

here's what i do, and this is pretty much year round but i try to diet more before Miami, epecially the 3 weeks before WMC

Monday: usually recovering from the weekend ;)
Tuesday: I teach an indoor cycling class
Wednesday: Run about 4 miles
Thursday: Cycling class
Friday: I teach yoga
Saturday: usually hike for about an hour/hour and a half in Runyon Canyon, lots of steep inclines
Saturday into Sunday at least 2 times a month, dance all night at clubs and afterhours
Sunday: fun day

i'm a vegetarian which helps and i try to never eat after 6 pm and try to have lunch be my largest meal filled with complex carbs and dinner is usually protein and veggies or salad.
i will fall off the wagon here and there but everything in moderation is key.
doesn't help that Girl Scout cookies just came out and i bought 6 boxes of Samoas, lol

GYPSYGIRL.... I had the same thought when I got my Girl scout Cookies... I was like oh no .. I am on WMC diet.

Trying to sneak in one or two a day though :)

I work out all year long.. but then again My job is so sedentary ..I sit 12hr a day. SUCKS.

What I do different for WMC is :

Protein Shakes for Breakfast.
Lots of little meals, ie, yogurt, Weight Watchers Cheese, Apple Slices,
I have such a sweet tooth.. so only one sweet a day.. imagine breaking a ferrero Rocher into 4... yeah its not easy/
1 Soda a day and 2 Liters of water a day.
Working out 60 min on my days off. 30-40 mmin of cardio on work days. even when i am sick, tired, and just wants to sleep.

And constantly model some outfits so I can encourage myself to continue diet.

Its not easy though....especially since I eat out a lot. So trying to mostly share an app...and then have a salad.

While everyone around me is eating and having fun.. But WMC mode all the way.

I was planning on it (gym/eating properly), shed some extra winter weight. Got two weeks int o it...

...and then the Olympics happened. I know it sounds like a non-event right?
Canada-Russia tomorrow and I will be pounding them back, hopefully until Monday morning. I imagine US hockey fans (some who think they've already won) are also watching the games. The other events I can get by without getting smashed.

Oh and I guess St. Patty's day is before. Add on a couple thousand colories there.

i really wish the bouncers would do something about that. i mean they wont let you in without a tshirt but once inside you can run around without one on? gay. but maybe the bouncers are just afraid to get rubbed on by these guys so they let it slide. ' that im not gonna deal with it' mentality.

yup, I can understand that. Maybe tasers would work.

The Highroller
For eating, I just try to be reasonable about my meat portions, lots of fruits, veggies and complex carbohydrates.

For working out, I do about 6 hours of Muay Thai per week.

I like to keep it simple.

*this is not my WMC diet/routine

32oz gatorade, preferably G2 now. will kill your hangover. drink it before you go to sleep

Yeah it's bad cause I was at Space this weekend and everyone was shirtless like wtf. I mean it got hot during the sunny hours so I took my shirt off but kept my tank top on. I think it's douch status to have your shirt completely off. I don't see any wrong in having a tank top on though. :)

You guys are really that consumed by another guy taking his shirt off at an event? Sorry but that is just an absurd complaint, you're at a club at 8am, with 99% of the people on a substance including yourself, music blasting, hot, dancing all night, and you're upset that a guy takes his shirt off?? I think once you enter into an event like this your "manner tolerance" sort of broadens.

I can't imagine a lot of you going to a place like Berghain in Berlin. You'd run out of there in 2 minutes into a shower for 5 hours if shirtless guys bother you.

PS:
Yes, I'll be on the terrace for WMC, most likely shirtless, and dancing my ass off to a Mathhias Tanzmann or a Joris Voorn.

Clubs are meant to be clothed events.

Take the shirts off at Ultra, the pool parties, wherever else. But clubs are supposed to be clothed events...
