Well that's not in real life obviously. |

| Most of the time i don't want to have long conversations with the other half, so if i need to ask a question, see how his day was, or say random i will text. In fact i rarely call him :stongue: |

there's a girl that i like and i've been chatting with her (vkontakte.ru, similar to facebook). now my messages are so well built and refined, but will i be so appealing when i actually talk to her on the street? close but not as good confidence boosted. that

texting is a part of real life just like internet forums are a part of (and just another form of) the "real" social communicating. |

Calling, except when I know for sure that the person can't talk at the moment. Texting is only when I want something to be really clear like arranging a meeting - its easier to have the date, the place etc. in one text or when I want to write something more romantic.
Women usually tend to use text messages only when they are not confident or don't want to look desperate. Calling them is still the best way to respond to their texts except if its one of the few things mentioned above. |

I ing HATE texting. However, my man works long hours and I live in a different city 5 days out of the week, so often it's the only way we can communicate.
What makes me livid is when we're arguing about something on the phone and I want to keep talking to fix it but he's all "No, this, we're not talking about this anymore". Then 5 mins later he sends like 4 texts explaining how he feels and what we should do, etc. Um hi... we were JUST on the phone --- why could this not have been said then?
I have come to the conclusion that I talk so much when we argue that he doesn't have time to think. So he needs to hang up... think... and then starts the incessant slew of text messages.
ing sucks. I can't wait til his car/student loan is paid off and my school is done. He will be working something like 40% less and we will be living together again fulltime. |

Unless you're my family or a hot, cock-loving whore who likes booze as much as I do, I have no reason to speak to you on the phone.
Text. |

So what you're saying is that he's stupid. |

Yes, but he's my stupid head and I love him
:gsmile:
One time he caught me totally off guard by being very forward and confronting during an argument and I just sat there stunned in silence. |

or that he thinks just fine, but you talk too much so he just texts you because it is easier to get the point across without being interrupted with the opinions of a non bread winner...get back in the kitchen...and put some pretzels on it!!!
