Because there is something about a droptop classic Vette that makes it better. I know the 63 split window is incredibly rare but for me the 65 droptop is perfect.

Good call. I love all Vettes the same. Just beautiful cars from beginning to end.

Already green lit to go into production, and while the car in this pic is the 4-door coupe (to go against the Merc CLS), what you see here is basically the new BMW 6 series  Serisouly tempted to go to Paris in october to see this beatuy live. i think i just came in my pants a little. Anyway more pics here

I really dislike that "whale" front that they've been pushing. It also doesn't help that it's a BMW. Looks ok from the front but rubbish from the side.
leph555
the front still looks stunning :o

My grandfather has a '63 split-window Stingray. And it's mint... looks like it just rolled off the showroom.

It pretty much takes your breath away.

the split windows are sweet indeed. Or a 67 with a big block 427 with 435hp 3 two barrels or 427 with 425hp single holley 4 barrel. Also very rare. My parents neighbor had one for years. He bought it in 1987 with 18k miles for $19k. Sold it in 2003 with 27k miles for $90k. It's rare to pull off such a profit off a car.
