Currently drive a Mercedes S600. Very comfortable and deceptively quick.

Yes its old but ive been dreaming about this car for 20 years and imo its still one of the best shapes BMW has ever made.

Was just talking about these with a friend today. One of my favourite BMWs.

I've got a 2008 Outlander 4WD, a 1997 race spec GTO, which is fresh back from the workshop with a bigger clutch and a little Toyota Corolla which is sold and due to go at the end of the week. Also sold our MX5 this year, which was a pity after spending all the time getting it restored (made a profit at least!) but there is no more room for cars... it was getting silly.

No, I wasn't. I love my Uno, and it's proven to be reliable even in floods, leaving BMWs and Audis behind.

If I had to buy a new car, I'd probably get a new Uno.

BMW had some of the best designs back in the day. It all went downhill after the E39 series, which in my opinion was the perfect BMW design. It combined the sexy curves with the classic BMW look perfectly. After that they just went overboard with the curves and the 5 series seems to have gotten smaller since then. I may be a little biased though, since I drive a 2000 528i.

I'll try to post a pic of my baby sometime in the near future when the weather is right for picture taking.

Wouldn't mind an E39 M5 *drool*

god i just don't get how people like the design of a mercedes or bmw

this guy brought in an old m3 (87/88) to our shop, he wanted it completely repainted, everything in metallic black, he bought every single component and part for the car, brand new, anything that didn't match in color, even anything under the car had to be repainted to a matching color. he also made sure every part was from models that improved stability within the parts. i have never hated working on a single car more than i do on that thing
