It has been around in the UK for a while. I remember someone showing it to me back in 2003 or so, but back then you had to pay for each search. My father has it on his iPhone and is crazy about it. He's a kind of 'John Peel' type when it comes to music and tries to stump the thing but it is very difficult.

yes sir, thats right. i was more impressed cos i sampled the parts of each version that sound pretty much exactly the same.. but it still knew which one was which. possibly picked up on different percussion or hi hats or something. quite impressive.
im a gabba-head tho.. ive not actually tried it with any hardcore yet.. but i dont think it will manage with it

hahah well this thing just keeps on ing amazing me.
i just tried to do a bunch of hardcore stuff.. and no joy. so i tried some of my old hardstyle stuff.. and it knew everything, even some really obscure stuff.
this week i fell in love with a speedcore track from a liveset.. i have been asking like-minded hardcore/speedcore heads what it is.. and nobody knew.. i just tried it on shazam.. and it ing knew it!!!

I just installed it on my N97, but it says it's a trial version, and gives me the option to pay now or at the end of the trial. Is there a full free version for Nokia?
