drinking 8 cups a day means you spend long tiem in bathroom.

oh, also you may experience 'tea tummy' where ur guts get a bit 'detox'ed and end up ting lots LOL

i drink a mixed bunch of teas throughout the day, more on some days, less on others. im probably averaging 5-6 cups a day easy. mixing teas like peppermint, jasmine, chai, green etc

though i prefer the ones that aren't caffinated.

caffine makes me poo :)

OP go to the doctors because I once had 9 months which started with a panic attack and ended up with generalized anxiety disorder and depression. The doctor gave me 20mg of Citalopran and they make you feel bad for 2 weeks, I can only liken it to the feeling of coming up on an e over and over all day but not as pleasent. After a while I picked up and 5 years on never had a re-occurance. they worked miracles for me as my life as down and out. I ruined a perfectly good business I owned, my health suffered, and I just felt awful.

All this talking, eating well, going running etc is ok but I didnt exactly feel like going for a run and having a salad when I was in bed crying and my heart was racing.

Just remember they make those pills so that people that cant break the cycle of a depresive state on their own dont have to suffer any longer than they have to. Ignore the stigma or what people say etc they worked for me. Hope you feel better soon man. Ignore the people being idiots on here too they obv dont realise what an awful state people can get into.

Oh there is also a website called daily strength its a forum and people who are in the same boat post and support each other. By the time I had found it I was already on the mend but im sure it might help to share with people that are going through similar.

Misdiagnosis of depression over the years for people just being 'Genuinely Unhappy' and then sending them on their way with a script ended up causing a lot of people, myself included a lot of grief in the long term.

Not addressing it to anyone in particular, just my 2cents of experience on the matter.

quoted for emphasis.

the depression i had wasn't really severe. it was the consequences of it that were severe. take the time to check yourself in with a DR or group therapy.

I have a severely depressed friend that eats healthy/exercises and it doesn't do a damn thing for him. I call to check up to see how he's doing from time to time but honestly I am scared to death for him and am scared one day he's not going to answer the phone :( he's on tons of meds and they don't do anything. I guess some people only get worse throughout the years and it's horrible for them and for you to watch them be like that. My mom is also depressed and self medicates with alcohol (horrible). Try the eating healthy/exercising deal and see if it helps (it does for me and a lot of people). My man has clinical depression and what helps him is swimming and getting out as much as possible (also pot but he uses it to treat his anxiety instead of taking xanax). Your best bet is going to a doctor (though I heard antidepressants really don't do , atleast that's what my bf says) but they may work for you? I don't know, I tried. Best of luck dude.

Pot creates anxiety, its why i had panic attacks! DONT SMOKE POT IF YOUR ARE PRONE TO ANXIETY

This is not at all true for everyone.

Keep your mind and body occupied, make long-lasting goals that are realistic for your station in life, take up a new hobby, talk to new people, reach out to your close friends and family - chances are excellent they will understand or be able to help you to understand. Above all, keep in mind that - unless you have a long history of depression - you *will* get over whatever it is that you are feeling, and you *will* feel good about your life again sometime soon, you just kind of have to grit your teeth and ride it out for a short while.

And this too shall pass, etc.

This.

Yeah I've heard that to but that's only some people. He stopped taking his meds (xanax) and started smoking instead and says it helps him better than the xanax ever did.

yeah i know its not all people, but it is people that have anxiety. Mind you I actually heard people with anxiety already before smoking it helps chill out. People after smoking pot and getting anxiety it makes it way worse. So each to their own, pots quite good for some things.
