Canandas military is actually pretty bad ass. They get paid incredibly well, you only have to do a combat tour if you want to, you get on average two years of training before any combat tour, their equipment is top notch for the most part, they are dead serious about communications, and they get surf and turf on Fridays at their operating bases and Pizza other nights.

No BS.

Not sure about the equipment part. They didn't get properly armoured vehicles in Afghanistan up until recently. Then there's the Sea King fleet. Don't get me started on the submarines. It will all be taken care of, though.

Canadian snipers hold the record for the furthest kill: 2400 meters (8,000 feet). They hold a lot of records, actually.

What are you talking about? That's an accurate simulation of the US Army's new DEFRL (Delayed Explosion Flash Rocket Launcher). The rocket lodges into the civilian building, then emits a loud message, "IM GOING TO EXPLODE!". This allows all women and children to exit the building before it goes down in a large flash. Also, the game is set in ancient japan and I believe it has giant enemy crabs.

While the cry engine offers the visual candy it still is only an immediate surroundings game engine.

The cool thing about the Real Virtuality Engine (which is what all the VBS/ArmA games use) is that you can have a 180km x 180km map and be shelling something 40Km away with HIMARS and you know that it is carrying out that simulation in that spot. If you go over there you will see dead bodies and damaged buildings and such, even if its 2 hours later.

Yea, I shoulda meant kept in top notch, I heard they clean their weapons systems (that work) like crazy. But yea, the Canadian Forces Maritime Command has made some ill advised purchasing decisions... :p
