hmm first party was back in 1996 ... there was this club near my apartment in New Orleans, forgot the name of it.
first EDM event was Oakenfold at Shadow lounge in Miami 1999 |

Nope missed the tiger incident. My visit actually might have been before that, as the club was pretty dead the night I was there. I was 16, and in from Brockville for the weekend, visiting my aunt and uncle in North York. Think I had a 12:30 curfew, so I hopped the subway downtown and hit up Club Z, which I'm pretty sure I found out about while record shopping. Tunes were great and the layout was pretty neat, as I recall, but I was one of maybe a 1/2 dozen people hanging around. |

Yeah he was really late. Got there at 8am I think?
And I couldn't name one other dj on the bill that night. I didn't even know who tiesto was hahahha ... I just went bc it was NYE.. Was at Unity (gay bar in mtrls village) got faced n my friends dragged me off to resolution to 'see their god'.
I guess you could say I had a great time ;) though I do remember asking why everyone had their hands in the air all the time ...lolol |
