In 23 years i think I have only ever read 1 maybe 2 fictional books cover to cover that I wasn't forced to read through school. However, I remember that my favourite book as a child was "1001 fascinating facts". I used to love reading up on natural history books and atlas'. I used to think to myself when I was about 8 years old "Why bother reading something that isn't true when I could be learning something interesting.

I guess that kinda mentality helps with all the scientific papers I read. I have bought some fictional books and novels in the past with the intention of reading them, I just never get around to it.

I can relate to that. My favourite book as a child was a World Atlas :)
