My dad was hosting bridge night on Saturday and I was over helping him prepare food and snacks for his buddies.

I took a medium-sized brick of cheddar, whose entire surface area was white/blue, scraped off the mold and made little shish-kebabs with pickles and cold sausage.

ing delicious and I don't think anyone had diarrhea

Last night I found some cottage cheese in the fridge that expired a month ago but the packaging was never opened. I opened it, smelled it, checked for mold etc and all seemed to be fine. Until about halfway through it started to taste funny...anyway I just put it back on the fridge. I wonder what it's doing now?

nononono, i mean like you can eat fish/meat as long as it's been cooked to a certain degree.

so , if cheese were heated to a certain degree, enough to break down the spores of the mold, would it be safe then?
