Probably, but by the time the spores were destroyed, the cheese would be a thin, crispy layer of burnt on a plate. |

| Boiling water is sufficiently hot to kill any spore I can think of. That point aside, in the case of most molds I'd say the mold itself is more of a concern than the spores are. |
