Tired as hell.

SVD: I love him but last night's set had no flow at all.

I thought this BeB would kinda meh cause of the first few sets. But when Ferry Corsten came on, he took the show. I had goosebumps for like half his set. Amazing dj and vibe.

Markus Schulz was pretty good as well the last hour except the last two tracks was amazing! Perspective space mashed up with sweet dreams. Hale Bopp - Der litte raum(sp?), Cosmic Gate - Conciousness Wowwwww

the house room was not good at all... didnt spend any time in there. Trance room all day, although nothing really stood out for me. Mostly i just had fun with good friends :)

omgomgomgomgomg. i havent been to montreal in quite a few years but now i remember why i love it so much. bal en blanc was an insane and intense experience.

honourable mention also goes to circus afterhour. i had the opportunity to check this place out on friday night. i was expecting a shady and ugly venue but i was soooo wrong. this place is beautiful. hardwood floors, sick lighting, good sound and some of the sexiest female bartenders i have ever seen. special thank you to FunKenLouis.

i hope i can go back to montreal in june. gareth emery @ circus.

now i wish i waited in those huge lines and used those washrooms instead of walking back downstairs and using the one in foyer area that had nobody in it.

Copy pasta from the MTL section

It was my first Bal en Blanc, I heard about the crazy line ups. We got in line at 10:45 and we were inside and ready to party at 11:20pm. That was awesome.

First off, decoration, pretty weak IMO. It felt bare, and nothing like I've seen from years past. The LED screens were pretty ing sweet in the house room, I especially liked watching the DJs up close on the screen. The Boombox got better and better, during Schulz, I was thoroughly enjoying it. At first I was thinking, whatever this thing's alright, but definitely got better as the night progressed.

Caught a little bit of Wizz and Insomnia, and liked what I heard.. for about 15 minutes while we waited in line for the bathrooms and bought some drinks at the bar in the trance room. Then we headed over to catch Ceasar Romero.

Ceasar laid down some seriously thumping tech house, some prog, and some techno, and some latin flavored tracks, The vibe was AMAZING and the house room was PACKED for Ceasar even at midnight, while there was about 200 people in the trance room.

I knew this would happen, LMFAO came on stage and totally killed my vibe with their obnoxious songs, beats, and hair. Seeing the words "I Am Not A Whore" flashing on the screen made me wanna throw up all over the place. I left quickly, and refused to even listen to IM, so we hung out for a little a little.

I'm not a trance fan, and neither are any of my friends but I went to BeB with an open mind. We all got into the trance room for SVD, and.. we couldn't do it. The bass was way too muffled, and overpowered the highs, I dunno maybe we were too close to the back where it seems the bass overpowered, but I just can't do 140-150 bpm, too fast for me and my friends. We weren't feeling it, so at 2am we went to see Guetta.

I didn't enjoy Guetta. The dance floor was way too packed, and such a commercially crowd pleasing set full of cup cake remixes and mash ups galore, the LAST THING I wanna hear is a ing Coldplay sample. He'd play a nice track then smother it with lame commercial samples. At this point, I was pretty down for some reason. My stomach was feeling weird, and I was wondering if I'd even be able to last the whole night.

After an hour and a half of Guetta, we hung out for a bit till Ferry came on. I wanted to give the trance room another try... once again, I thought Ferry's tracks within the first 20-30 mins were too cheesy so we left and went to hang outside in the hallway for an hour, just talking and chilling, watching the sluts walk by. These two stunning broads wore the tiniest string thongs I've ever seen, saw a gay dude dressed up at Tatonka, and a really sexy tranny, I had to give it a double take to make sure it was not a chick. Talked with some strangers, the drugs were really kicking in now and I was having a blast.

We got into the house room for 5:30 and Kaskade was on. I've checked out his productions before and hated it, cheesy vocal deep house, I deleted it off my computer immediately.. but GODDAMN what a set! He dropped some dirty tech house, big room prog house, I thought his mixing was top notch, his mash ups were cool, and holy some of his drops were just massive. I couldn't stop moving, and didn't want him to stop. Highlight tracks were Burujava, Soms, and I'm not gonna lie I enjoyed I Remember, you guys.. I just hugged one of my girl friends, and we just danced slowly and sexy.

Ana Paula came on, and I was feeling it, some cool tracks, but one second I was surrounded with chicks, and the next second it was ALL gay dudes. Some guy touched my ass and I got ing pissed.. watched 15 minutes, and decided this let's give the trance room one more shot.

Markus Schulz drew me and my friends in. FINALLY some trance I was feeling, some of the tracks he played, my god such deep churning growling basslines, punchy kicks, and just a techno-ish dark sound? Some insane tribal basslines too, WOW... Even the vocal tracks he played, I LOVED. My friends, all house heads, agreed that Schulz slayed the ing crowd big time. Such raw emotion, fantastic mixing, song selection, and the flow of the set was just incredible. The boombox was finally going haywire, the lights flashing, when he played "Hold that sucker down" I lost my , I dunno if it was an edit, but the kicks were much more bassy, and he sped it up a bit prolly to around 135, but KKK what a drop! I was really happy he played the whole track.. finally got to hear one of my favorite tracks on a big system. I was ready to leave at 9:45 and my friends were like "No this guy is way too good let's wait till he's done." so we stayed till 10am. 2 hours and 45 minutes of intense dancing, I will go see Schulz again that's guarenteed. Is it possible he played a Pryda/Cirez D track? one song just sounded so familiar, sounded so much like the Prydz sound.

Overall, great night.. such friendly people, lots of eye candy, the gays were a little intense, danced like crazy for almost 10 hours. I didn't even take all the candy I had brought with me, didn't need to, so I'm not too cracked out today. I read only one person got arrested, thats great news. I did see a few guys getting rolled out on stretchers though... I think the strobes in the house room gave one guy a seizure, I saw him barfing and then he blacked out on the floor. Hope everyone is okay.

the bass bins were at the back of the room so the bass will obviously be heavier if you are closer to them. the sound was great at the front.

svd playing 140-150bpm? sounds like you dont know how to count your bpm properly. lol

lol there were no lines for that co ed bathroom... or atleast i never waited in one there.... the ones inside the party and even the VIP bathrooms were like HUGE line ups with only two stalls

Yeah not 150, definitely felt faster then Markus though. I didn't stay long enough to give an honest review of Sander, I've checked out some live sets of his before BeB to get a feel, but.. just wasn't feeling it.

Markus made a trance fan out of me, seriously destructive set. Anyone stay to see Sied? I couldn't do it, my legs were done.
