There is a girl in one of my classes who has blown off lecture all semester and missed the midterm and is now blowing up my cell phone because she needs my notes and my help because she realizes she is going to fail the course.
She's very young (I think 18 or 19) and I gave her my cell at the beginning of the year because she said she would be missing a class and wanted to catch up. I gave it to her without thinking twice - I expect things like that from my classmates and I wouldn't hesitate to help out someone who has fallen behind ... we've all been there. whatever
At the beginning of the year, she told me she wants to study with me for the finals. I politely told her that I don't like studying in groups.
She has literally been harassing me all semester. When she DOES come to class, she sits beside me and talks non-stop to the point where I sometimes can't hear the prof.
She calls me from different numbers because she knows I know her number and I think she's getting the hint that I'm not going to pick up when she calls.
I am writing her an e-mail because I want her to understand that she's going to fail in life if she keeps relying on other people to do her work for her.
I'm trying not to stereotype - but I know her type very well. She's an opportunistic slacker who thinks she can smooth talk her way through things. It's not hard to see through her BS though
I'm a big chicken and I don't like being mean. I need to tell her to leave me the alone and I also want to express concern that she should change her ways or she's going to get ed over big time.
Any suggestions? |

It's not mean to refuse to carry someone's dead weight around. She's not your responsibility, and you're a fool if you do anything for this bitch. She made her bed, let her lie in it.
I had this same happen to me with a friend of mine, and I told her straight up that I couldn't help her because she had done all. |

You can make somesort of cruel game out of it.
For example; Put the notes at the bottom of a bucket. Then fill the bucket with spiders. Then tie her hands and tell her to eat her way to the notes. If she doesn't, her family will be killed. |

I'm just not good at being like "you need to the off right now"
I feel sorry for her because she's going to fail in life if she continues to rely on others to pull her through. I just want her to know that she's wrong and she's being ing stupid
