Reachers of Civilisation is great, Honey is great, Timegate is great.
None of them have been released before digitally.
Then a few others that I want to have just for sentimental reasons, even though they aren't "amazing."
ISOS 2 is also ing great. Though I've collected all of the songs already over the years. |

The last half of the CD has some pretty damn awful and very formulaic epic trance, particularly those Lange-tunes. The whole CD, in fact, is marred by lack of variation and being one big string of anthems one after another, a typical trademark of Tiesto's sets back then. It's one of the reasons I could never get into the Magik-series much, despite having some gems every now and then.
I also can't see the big deal about that Marc Vision-track, to be honest. It's very typical german epic trance of that era, complete with tremolo, offbeat basslines and those annoying one finger-melodies that people seemed to use in abundance as 1999 went by.
I'll take stuff like LN Movement - Golden Desert and Fortress - An Angel Saved My Life (Mark Shimmon Remix) over this any day.

Now this WOULD be good. That series actually has a ton of virtually unknown and sorely underappreciated tracks that deserve more exposure. I just doubt that it'd be legally feasible to do it, seeing as half the material from the series was released on labels that are long gone. |
