High costs. Too many rooms, too many DJs, too much staff, "artists" rent... list could go on and on. Once the novelty wears off, it's hard to maintain all of those. Hence why the washroom bar got it's wall knocked down and things got stripped bit by bit |

I would think their normal business costs wouldn't be any higher then say Guv.....no? There must be something that was key to the business loosing money....is it simply not enough people coming through the doors every weekend or were they not making enough money on other ventures...such as renting the space during the week. |

Guvs regular nights are only the tip of the iceburg for revenue...
Those nights are what brings in the production companies and corporate events...
Of course, our big events are big revenue as well...
I wonder what'll happen with all of the Circa decor..
I'll he the first to admit that it did look amazing...
I want that in head to mount on the roof of Guv... |

Circa came out at the beginning and said they wanted to have corporate events and other ventures during the week as well...hence why I wonder if a lack of interest there is the downfall. Its obvious that Guv is doing something right to be going strong for as long as it has. So what was Circa not doing that Guv has been doing? Is it simply location and choice of clientelle.....I don't know. |

Costs there are astronomical and I don't think they had enough money to buy enough time to build up a name... |

| Not surprising, but still very unfortunate. There were some pretty great parties at Circa... but the place was too big and ambitious to survive. RIP... I'd still prefer Circa over Guv any day... |
