Here's a P90X question...can you do it without chin-ups/pull-ups? It's not that I don't want to do them, it's just I workout in my basement and there are no door frames anywhere close for me to hang the bar. I'd have to drill the rafters to put up a bar and I don't really feel like doing that. I will if I *have* to, but is there any alternative?

a chin up bar is something you definitely don't want to sacrifice. you could target the same muscles with different types of free weight rows and pullovers but those won't really shock your lats (and whole upper back) like you want, and won't give you much compound strength

Like DaRoZa said, it's best to have a pullup bar.
Although there is an alternative. In the program they show you how to do all the workouts without using weights, utilizing resistance bands.
What you could do is screw a hook in the rafters. A nice and sturdy hook because I tried that but with a door and the door magically opened and the black plastic ball nailed me in my inner thigh. I was in the fetal position for a good 5 minutes. If that would have hit my nuts it would have been all over.
Here's a video about pullups you'll see the example of what I'm talking about with the resistance bands.

I'm so much happier now it's unbelievable, I feel really good. That first pic I was laughing cause my sister couldn't figure out how to use my camera and I almost fell down for reason I will not explain here, lol. The 30, 60, 90 day pics I took myself.

I didn't follow their nutrition plan. It was very similar to just simplified so it's easier. If there's anything that kills a workout program it's the diet. For me, the simpler the better.
The first 45 days I just ate really healthy, 6 small meals every 2-3 hours. I didn't pay attention to my carb/protein/fat ratio at all which was a mistake. I wasn't getting nearly enough protein. I switched to a bodybuilding diet for fat loss/building lean muscle, which consisted of egg whites, oatmeal, tuna, oranges, green beans and ultimate muscle protein (shake). Ate every two hours 7 times a day and my last meal is 3 hours before I go to sleep. All my supplements are from Beverly International and I take around 47 pills a day.

Yeah It's 7 days a week but on Sunday it says to either rest or do the X Stretch. I usually just rest.
