Didn't even feel like celebrating mine. I think any bday when you're over 21 is just another day. The only thing that I got myself as a present was to quit smoking. Which didn't help my nerves at all.
Ever feel like not celebrating your own bday? :( |

| I am never no where near as excited about my birthdays as I was when I was 4-13. |

the average life expectancy is 79 yrs.
so to me, a birthday is just another reminder that you're going to die soon, and you've completed another year of accomplishing that goal of death. :D |

I'm with the OP. Birthdays aren't a bit deal at all, and I never really celebrate them much. Usually just go out for dinner or something. Not big on gifts either, since I generally have everything I need, and I hate accumulating more 'stuff' that will just sit around.
The high point is, of course, a TA birthday thread :p |

Life is a terminal desease, always with a fatal outcome.
I don't need an occasion to get faced - I have a fully stacked bar, humidor and hooka. I think my job is a major contributing factor to my current state of mind. Being adult sucks ass, tbh. The awesomest bday ever? When I was 11 and got my first bike. I rode it day and night, even in the (post-chernobyl) rain, living only 60 miles away from it. Well, we didn't really know about it until 2 weeks passed. Not being able to come out and ride my bike was the biggest disapointment of my life at that time. *sigh* |

I didn't get a thread for my birthday :(
I was really excited about birthdays until I was like 14 or 15 and then they sucked. My last one, 19th, was the best of my life though and I look forward to the 20th :) |
