Well, we're animals too, and we can always produce more humans... I know I'd gladly help :p
I don't think you're a heartless psychopath or a bad person or anything just because you said it was cool to watch: I can understand there's something of the "car accident effect" behind it, and we all trace our "empathy lines" up to a certain point. I don't feel bad for the lettuce I eat, you don't feel bad for the mouse the piranhas eat. Now, it'd be really disturbing if you saw a child being fed to the fish and you didn't feel a small bit of repulsion. That'd be unsettling! |

| i dont mind watching that in nature. but artificially creating the situation in order to film it isn't my cup of tea. unless we're talking people, obviously. |

If they filmed it IRL there would be nothing to see... |

I feel bad for the mice... I know they're carnivores and all but feeding mice to a piranha is not the same as having piranhas actively look for food: The mouse has no chance to escape because it doesn't belong in the tank and, for that matter, it doesn't belong in the Amazon either. |
I also agree with this statement.
It just isn't a natural meal, but people have urges to see disturbing things, that is probably the biggest reason this action has happened. I think I might find the same amusement if I let a mouse go running in my room for my cat (that I love) to eat but "mostly" because I love my cat and I know she would get a thrill out of the kill and also it would fill her instinct as a hunter and thus leaving her satisfied. BTW...it really isn't that disturbing to watch compared to what I have seen already but it's my natural desire to be more compassionate towards another mammal in a situation like this. |

Jesus, that's not something I expected to see, lol.
Like Lira said, please link to pics like that, (with a warning), rather than embed them.
