need resume advice

I think I might get a job interview next week, and I have an important question to answer.
My resume is 2 pages, which is absolutely necessary for level of experience that I have. When I take extra copies of my resume in case the interviewers forgot to print it, should I:
1. Staple the pages
2. Use a paperclip
3. Leave the pages loose
Additionally, I am planning on using regular copy page instead of resume paper.
I haven't interviewed outside my current company in almost 10 years so I am a little lost on what is expected.

i am not considering that option because I thought the interviewer would like to have both pages next to each other on the table and take notes, without having to flip it over. |

if that scenario is the most likely based on your experience, then I guess clip is best.
maybe it's a function of industry? in banking and finance, no one looks at both pages at the same time, they always flip and no one took notes. |

| go paperclip, staples are bad. Employers usually will want to make copies, and staples will be annoying. |

the problem is, I don't have a lot of experience with external interviews, so i guess i don't really know.
i have been on some interviews for jobs in my current company and they definitely took notes on the resumes, and sometimes on the back. maybe it's the nature of the field that I am in - pharma supply chain. |

| i would highly recommend figuring out how to cut stuff out if possible or format it in such a way (smaller font, less spacing, smaller margins, etc) to fit it all into one page. it looks a lot cleaner that way. |

| Don't use a staple. If you must use more than one page, make sure all the important things you want seen are on the first page. Good luck. |

that would not be appropriate for this type of job. |

Btw, you're too concerned with little details. My sister was getting input from her boss on which of the 10 candidates to hire. He liked the name Rita so she got the interview. Keep things in perspective you really don't know who your up against and what criteria they will use to make their final decision. Chances are paper clip vs double sided resume isn't going to be the determine factor, but you may want to put a subtle scent on your resume, nice smelling clothes do sell better. ;) |
